Process and Requirements


WHAT IS PCSSD ACCREDITATION?
PCSSD Accreditation is a mandated policy for the National Government to regulate and ensure the safety of local and foreign divers which can be achieved through proper regulation and monitoring of the Philippine Dive Industry.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Dive Individuals

STEP 1. Completion and Submission of all documentary requirements. Our accreditation officer will review all the submitted documents within 7 working days. If all documents are complete and valid, you will receive an email on how to settle the accreditation fees.

STEP 2. Payment of Accreditation Fees* and Issuance of Official Receipt.

* Accreditation Fee for SCUBA Divers:  FREE! (as of date)

* Accreditation Fee for Professional Divers:  FREE! (as of date)

STEP 3. Issuance of Identification Card as Accredited PCSSD Diver.

Dive Establishments

STEP 1. Completion and Submission of all documentary requirements.  Our accreditation officer will review all the submitted documents within 7 working days. If all documents are complete and valid, you will receive an email on how to settle the accreditation fees.

STEP 2. Payment of Accreditation Fees* and Issuance of Official Receipt

* Accreditation Fee for Diving Establishment:  FREE! (as of date)

STEP 3. Random Inspection

– Verification of declared facility, equipment, etc.

– Air quality test (tests oil mist, water vapor, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide content)

PASSED FAILED
License valid for one (1) year starting from date of inspection will be given. I. Retake- Retest the failed element or ampule for FREE. (Maximum of 3 tests including initial)II. No Retake- Suspension with the option to get license next year.

STEP 5. Certification of Accreditation Certificate

REQUIREMENTS

Dive Individuals

1.  Accomplished Application Form

Copies of the following may be photocopied or scanned:

2.  Current Diver’s C-Card

3.   ID Picture (High resolution, 2 x 2 inches ID picture)

  • - Photo is sharp, not pixelated, and with good lighting;
  • - Face should be clearly seen and should be taken from shoulder level up with head;
  • - Background: plain, no patterns or design, and no shadows;
  • - Hair should not cover the face; should not be wearing any accessory except for religious purposed;
  • - Must be presentable; no topless photos;
  • - No alteration and filter.

4.  Valid and Adequate Accident Liability Insurance (if applicable, please declare)

Additional requirements for Foreign nationals:

  • - Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) from the Bureau of Immigration
  • - Valid working visa from the Bureau of Immigration
  • -  Alien Employment Permit (AEP) from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)

*If applicable for Foreign nationals:

  • - Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) OR Special Investor’s Resident Visa (SIRV) as per DOLE, holders of this ID must secure an Alien Employment Permit (AEP) from said agency
  • - Special Working Permit (SWP) from the Bureau of Immigration
Dive Establishments
  • 1. Accomplished Application Form
  • 2. Payment of Accreditation Fees (and its subsequent proof, usually a deposit slip)
  • 3. DTI or SEC Certificate (for which is applicable to the business entity)
  • 4. Mayor’s Business Permit
  • 5. Company Logo (high resolution)
  • 6. Accident Management Plan

To be checked during random inspection:

1. First-Aid Kit

2. Oxygen (O2) Facility (with non-rebreather mask and regulator that delivers 15L/min)

3. Spineboard

Disclaimer: Establishments employing Foreign Nationals must ensure to submit and declare all documentary requirements and employees.  

Additional requirements for Foreign nationals:

  • - Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) from the Bureau of Immigration
  • - Valid working visa from the Bureau of Immigration
  • -  Alien Employment Permit (AEP) from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)

*If applicable for Foreign nationals:

  • - Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) OR Special Investor’s Resident Visa (SIRV) as per Philippine Retirement Authority, holders of this ID must secure an Alien Employment Permit (AEP) from DOLE
  • - Special Working Permit (SWP) from the Bureau of Immigration

PAYMENT DETAILS

PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE THROUGH ANY LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES BRANCH (payment details to be emailed by PCSSD’s Accreditation Officer after completion of requirements)

  • Accreditation Fee for Dive Establishments is currently  FREE
  • Dive Instructor/Dive Master is currently  FREE
  • Non-professional SCUBA Diver is currently  FREE
